Join DBIA-WPR Owners’ Council for Session #2 of the webinar series. The series foundation is built from the DBIA Manual of Practice. This year’s theme is “Owner to Owner Perspective and Lessons Learned.” A highly experienced owner, practitioner, or academic will present each of the 6 topics. The March presentation titled “Maximizing Success in Integrated Projects” will be hosted by Dr. Keith Molenaar of University of Colorado and Dr. Bryan Franz of the University of Florida. Are you interested in hearing about the research done which provides hard data on why integrated teams, and delivery methodologies, lead to very successful projects? Please listen in and hear from these two highly regarded researchers.
Speakers:
Dr. Molenaars research and teaching focus is on project delivery method and risk analysis. He is a charter DBIA Design-Build designee and currently serves at the chairman of the DBIA National Certification Board. He is a member of the National Academy of Construction and the Pan-American Academy of Engineering.
Dr. Franz studies organizational strategies for assembling, managing, and evaluating project teams. Dr. Franz applies quantitative research methods that blend social constructs, such as leadership roles and group cohesion, with objective project performance data. His current research seeks to understand how the integration of design and construction disciplines contributes to the development of effective teams.
