Join DBIA-WPR for a webinar. With $50Bil for drinking water projects set aside in the Federal 2021 Infrastructure package, public agencies are trying to figure out how it will fund their water projects. In addition, over $1.8Bil has been set aside in California State funding for water projects over 3 years. This generational investment into water/wastewater is a game changer in funding projects. Both the Federal EPA and the State of California Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) are developing programs to spend the new funds and get projects under construction quickly. Design-build has been a useful tool to expedite projects and both EPA WIFIA and State Revolving Fund (SRF) programs have adapted to use these project delivery methods. This webinar will include presentations from EPA and California SWRCB that describe how the WIFIA and SRF programs handle projects that use collaborative delivery methods as part of their application process and during loan oversight activities to better prepare DB practitioners for managing federally funded projects.
