Description: DBIA-WPR Arizona Chapter Presentation, DBIA-WPR and Lean Construction Joint Education Event, Applying Lean Principles in Design-Build – A Success Story.
This joint event will feature a 20 minute presentation from DBIA, a 20 minute presentation from LCI, followed with 40-minute general Q&A. Mike Lee, Project Director, McCarthy Building Companies will present a case study on their recently completed design-build project University of Arizona Applied Research Building in Tucson, Arizona demonstrating how incorporating lean best practices helped their design-build team complete this successful project. Various LCI board members will then introduce the Lean Construction Institute and will go over Lean best practices. A general Q&A session will follow both presentations.
