Description: DBIA-WPR LA/OC Chapter Event, GIVE BACK 2024 AT LA & OC FOOD BANKS. Join DBIA-WPR LA/OC Chapter as we Give Back to our Communities. DBIA-WPR LA/OC will be hosting our 1st annual Give Back Day at both the Los Angeles and Orange County Food Banks to “Help End Hunger Today!”
We will provide support in their warehouses by sorting and arranging food items in boxes that are given to millions of individuals and families facing food insecurity in our communities. This includes senior citizens, children in after school programs and they are also used in Emergency Response Situations.
****Please make sure if you register you show up as they depend on the number of people that sign up to meet the quotas needed****
Once our volunteering time is complete, we will move to a restaurant nearby for a beverage, some bites and networking.
This event was organized by the YP Committee but is open to all of DBIA LA/OC.
