Description: DBIA-WPR LA/OC Chapter Young Professionals Cornhole Fundraiser.
Calling all DBIA-WPR LA/OC Chapter! Please join us for our 2nd Annual Cornhole Tournament to raise money to support our DBIA Student Chapters and Student Scholarships!
With our growing the number of student chapters, we need more funding to help them provide better experiences for their members, attend regional/national conferences, and provide additional scholarships to well deserving individuals. Last year’s tournament allowed us to provide 4 more scholarships this year!!
We are hosting this event in both DTLA & Irvine to recruit more teams! There will be 16 teams at each location with 4 individuals per team. They can all be from the same company or you can mix it up. We listened to feedback & will have a double elimination.
There will be individual tickets for those who want to cheer on their friends or play some of the other games that will be available while networking.
Since this is during the summer, please don’t forget about your interns and an extra point will be given to each team that includes an intern! Also be thinking of fun costume ideas for the costume contest!
This event is for YPs & Non-YPs, so please bring your co-workers for some great networking and fun for a great cause.
There will be raffle tickets sold for some great prizes at each location as well!
We are also looking for some sponsors to help cover the cost of food and beverage as we were able to secure the venue spaces for free!
