Description: A DBIA-WPR and OCWA joint presentation, "Design-Build in the W/WW Industry – A panel discussion with Owners."

Design-build is being used for many water/wastewater projects throughout California. These projects include pipelines, treatment plants, pump stations and storage facilities. Design-build accounts for about 40% of all W/WW projects constructed over the past 5 years. The concept of design-build is not new to the industry, but the method used to procure design-build varies greatly. A panel of local W/WW agencies will describe their perspective of projects delivered using design-build and how they plan to solicit projects in the future. This event will be co-hosted with DBIA.
