Description: DBIA National Course: Developing Design-Build Done Right Leaders w/Dr. Barbara Jackson. Leadership matters more than ever in the design-build process. As projects become ever more complex, it is imperative that team leaders are equipped with the skills and attributes to leverage the integrated process. The days of command-and-control styles of leadership are over if you intend to optimize the opportunities that design-build enables. In this workshop, you will be introduced to the key characteristics that define a Design-Build Done Right leader.

1. What the one critical leadership competency is in achieving extraordinary results.  
2. How developing an integrated mindset is the key to effective leadership in design-build.  
3. How to leverage the assets, talents, and skills of a multi-disciplined team.
4. What the gaps are between the leaders we have and the leaders in design-build project delivery.
