Description: DBIA-WPR LA/OC Chapter Tour, BURBANK AIRPORT PASSENGER TERMINAL TOUR. Join DBIA-WPR LA/OC Chapter for a tour. The Burbank Airport Authority made a bold decision to procure their next major infrastructure project using the Progressive Design-Build model. They based their decision on two primary considerations: ability to maintain program cost within established program funding parameters; and ability to define scope and manage design development and program cost with input from both the designer and the builder. Join other DBIA members in a facilitated discussion and private tour with the key players that are preparing to complete this 355,000 square foot facility that will have 14 gates and resolve long-standing safety and accessibility issues with the current terminal.
